The steam engine is under repair and not in operation in 2026.

In 2026 the Angelner Dampfeisenbahn runs from May 3 to September 20 regularly. You can also combine the trip with the Angelner Dampfeisenbahn with the Schlei navigation with a single ticket. When you want to ride with our train, reserve at our reservation system, come ca. 30 Min before departure and buy a ticket before departure (prices). For groups from 20 People a reservation is required.

If you want to do a return trip with the Angelner Dampfeisenbahn, you can travel:

1. From Kappeln (at 13:45 and at 10:45) to Süderbrarup and return.
   The stay in Süderbrarup takes 15 min.
2. From Süderbrarup (only at 12:00 on Sundays) to Kappeln and return.
   The stay in Kappeln takes 1 hour.

Of course, you can also charter our train for your private special trip.

On May 3, May 17, May 31, June 14, June 28, July 8, July 12, July 22, August 5, August 9, August 12, August 19, August 23, September 6 and September 20 from Kappeln at 10:45 and at 13:45 according to the red timetable.

Online booking

On Saturdays (from May 30 to July 18 and from August 1 to September 12), the rail buses run to Flensburg.

From July 24 to July 28, the rail buses run daily to Süderbrarup for the Braup Market (blue schedule).
 

Local transport tickets (including the Deutschland-Ticket) are valid for these trips. Reservations are not available.
